Nqobile Nompumelelo Mnisi is a social scientist, PhD researcher, thought leader and Founder of Phapano Holdings. She holds degrees in Psychology, Linguistics and Social and Psychological Research from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her professional experience spans academic research, public health, market research, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement and multi-country research coordination.

Her current PhD research examines how GenAI assistance shapes creative performance among university students, with attention to cognition, authorship, decision-making and creative diversity. Alongside her academic work, she is building Phapano Holdings and leads Phapano - The Difference, an initiative supporting students on the pathway to psychology careers. Her broader work focuses on using evidence, innovation and entrepreneurship to expand opportunity and contribute to meaningful African solutions.
